Adult Bible Study

Sunday mornings at 9:45 in the Mary Martha Room. Led by Craig Simon. Topics change every few weeks.

"The Chosen" - PAUSED until Season 5 is released

Mondays at noon in the Mary Martha Room. Discussion of this wonderful series about Christ and his disciples is led by Pastor Sarrault.

Adult Bible Study

Sunday mornings at 9:45 in the Apostle's Room. Led by Matt Holdridge. Topics change every few weeks.

Trustees, Elders, Learning Center Board, Council

2nd Monday nights. These groups serve to maintain the property, meet the spiritual needs of the congregation, support the Learning Center staff and students, and the congregation of St. John's. Members of these groups are either appointed, or elected by the congregation.

Adult Bible Class

Sunday mornings at 9:45 in the preschool room downstairs. Led by Mike and Andrew Osborne. This class focuses on Parenting/Family topics.

St. John's Seniors

1st Mondays at 1:30, retired adults are invited to enjoy cards and fellowship in the Mary Martha Room.

Tuesdays

Adult Bible Study

Tuesdays at 1pm in the Mary Martha Room.

"Max Lucado - Experiencing the Heart of Jesus" video with discussions led by Alysia Masters.

Tabea

Usually the 3rd Tuesday night at 6:30pm in the Mary Martha Room. Open to all ladies! This group primarily does Altar Care, but also serve funeral dinners and service projects. Led by Joanne Tressler.

Financial Peace University

Tuesdays from 7-8pm via Zoom. An class for anyone wanting to learn biblical financial principles to budget, get out of debt, and/or prepare for retirement, by Dave Ramsey. Led by Stan Masters.

The Board of Outreach

1st Tuesdays - this group offers blood drives, craft nights, Photo Fridays, the carnival, the Christmas craft show, Advent Aglow, and numerous congregation-wide service projects/collections throughout the year. Led by Karmen Wilharms, Outreach Director.

Wednesdays

Ladies Bible Class

Wednesdays at 9:30am in the Mary Martha Room. They are currently studying Philippians and led by Rosemary Dickerson.

Women in the Word

Wednesdays at 4pm and 6:30pm in the Mary Martha Room (come to either session). All St. John's women and their friends are invited! Led by Jamie Anderson.

Thursdays

AMen

Men meet weekly at 8am. Meet in the Mary Martha Room for enjoyable, biblical discussion and study, led by Pastor Sarrault.

Ladies Aid

Ladies meet the 1st and 3rd Thursdays from 10am - 3pm, downstairs in Koinonia Hall. They create quilts for the needy around the world, veterans, and also make lap robes for shut-ins.

Gowns of Grace

Ladies meet on the 1st Thursdays at 10am downstairs in Koinonia Hall. They use donated wedding dresses to make infant burial gowns, which are given to Tiny Purpose to distribute to hospitals in the tri-state area.

Saints Alive Luncheon

Retirees are invited to enjoy the food and fellowship on the 3rd Thursdays at noon in the Mary Martha Room. Sign up on the Welcome Counter with what you're bringing.

Craft Nights

2nd and 4th Thursdays from 5:30-8:30 are for crafters to gather and chat while working on their individual projects (crochet, knit, needlework, card-making, etc.). Meet in the Mary Martha Room.

HeBrews

Men meet the 2nd and 4th Thursdays at 7:30pm at Sauce in Adrian for fellowship and a bible study. This group is led by Craig Simon.

Fridays

Photo Fridays

Anyone is welcome to join us once per month to work on photo projects, scrapbooks, or to back-up digital photos from computers/phones. We meet from 3-9pm in the Mary Martha Room. $10 fee includes refreshments and pizza, and pre-registration is encouraged. A Sign up sheet is on the Welcome Counter each month, and online registration is also available. Contact Karmen Wilharms.

Praise Bands

We currently have two Praise Band Teams - one for the 8:30 service and one for the 11:00 service. Each team performs every other week.

We are always looking for experienced musicians/vocalists to help lead the congregation in worship.

Adult Choir

Open to anyone who likes to sing and can carry a tune. You do not have to read music to join. Rehearsals are usually on Thursdays at 7:00, but Wednesdays at 7:45 during Lent and Advent.

Youth Praise Band

Youth have a unique opportunity to actually lead worship whenever there's a 5th Sunday of the month. These talented musicians use their God-given talents to share their love of Christ with others.

Handbell Choir

Open to anyone! If you have never played before, now is the time to learn. The choir is led by Diane King and she will teach ringing techniques to those who are new. They practice Tuesday nights at 6pm.

Special music

If you have a musical talent and are willing to share those gifts with the St. John's family, there is a place for you! If you can't commit to regular rehearsals, perhaps you'd like to play for a one-time special service or holiday. Please contact Heather if you would like to be a part of this ministry.
