  • Pastor Joel Sarrault

Pastor Joel has been serving Jesus at St. John’s since 1999 when he and his lovely wife, Dawn, moved to Adrian with their two boys, Zachery and Nicholas. Prior to St. John’s, Adrian, Pastor Joel served congregations in Scott City, Missouri and Mt. Forest, Ontario, Canada. His time at St. John’s has seen many changes involving God’s pruning and subsequent harvest. He thoroughly enjoys pointing people to Jesus through God’s grace, worship, counsel, classes, involvement in the community and challenging members to continue to grow up in their baptismal grace. Along with loving to preach and teach, Pastor Joel runs marathons, gardens, fishes, canoes, cooks, reads too much, tutors adults in ESL and takes pleasure in family time.

  • Pastor Al is a member of our St. John's congregation, and as a retired pastor, steps in to assist whenever necessary.

She has a degree in Elementary Education and an Early Childhood endorsement from Alma College. Working at St. John’s continues to be a blessing for her, and has shown her time and time again how much she enjoys seeing the children grow and learn. In her free time, Jen loves spending time with her husband, Brenton, and their son, Evan.

  • Kathy Scobie, Secretary

Kathy began working at St. John’s as the Secretary in 2004 after spending many years raising her family, volunteering at school, and serving at church in various ways. She is responsible for putting together the worship bulletins, the monthly newsletter, and quite often is the voice answering the phone, ministering to those who call, with her loving, caring words. She enjoys her time with her husband, John, their six grown kids and spouses, and grandchildren. Apart from her staff position, she coordinates Faith Builders (Sunday School), runs the annual children’s Christmas program and helps with VBS. She considers it a privilege and a joy to be part of the St. John’s Family.

  • Tom Neill, Treasurer

Tom recently retired from his long career in leading manufacturing operations, mostly in Automotive Parts Supply.  Tom is excited to be able to serve St. John’s in this capacity to make sure your gifts are properly managed and cared for so that we may serve our Lord the best way possible.  Tom and his wife Amy are both lifelong Michiganders and love to spend time up north, hiking, kayaking, bike riding, cross country skiing and hanging out on the beaches of Lake Michigan. Tom and Amy have raised four daughters and have two grandsons.  Tom is still trying to talk Amy into four wheeling with her Jeep Wrangler.
